Project Communication management is more an art than science. Each project is unique and has its own different challenges. In this seminar Mrs. Dhara will share communication strategy best practices that worked well in projects encompassing diverse work places - diverse in terms of culture, work functions, and environments. This seminar will be useful to project managers, leaders, and coordinators doing projects with diverse teams. Furthermore, listening to real-life case studies will trigger new thoughts for your projects. The lecture and discussion qualifies for 1.5 PDU (Category B).
Specifically, this presentation will cover:
• A quick refresh of some of the basic concepts around communication management, aimed more towards context setting
• Three case studies of communication strategies adopted in three types of projects, namely Application Development project, Infrastructure project and Implementation project
Viji Dhara has more than 18 years of experience in varied roles such as business analyst, project manager, and PMO. Among other projects, she notably played a key role in a large effort during the Lehman buyout for Nomura in 2009. Currently she is the Program lead PMO of an implementation program spanning across all Volvo Japan offices.
